Lemurpalooza
Lemurs are from a group of primates known as prosimians. They are monkey-like creatures found exclusively on the island of Madagascar and its surrounding islands. Lemurs are incredibly diverse, ranging in size from the 30 gram Pygmy Mouse Lemur (the world's smallest primate) to the 10 kilogram Indri. Giant lemurs weighing as much as 400 pounds once roamed the island, but it is believed people killed all the larger species.Related Sites
