Jaojoby est le roi du salegy. The King of salegy is Jaojoby.
Le salegy est la danse du Nord de Madagascar : Majunga, Diego Suarez, Vohemar, Antalaha, Maroantsetra, Mandritsara, all dance "salegy". A traditional rythm with modern instruments.

You must "imperatively" visit the Comoros (not far from Nosy Be). There are close links between Madagascar and this archipelago. They are our brothers. The kabosy, the Malagasy mandoline is of Comorian origin.

We will definitely visit Nosy Be on our next trip. We also want to see the Comoros Islands.

Yes. Both the dance and the music are salegy
Nosy Be (= the great island) is the largest in a group of islands near the northwest coast. Called also Nosy manitra (the scented island) because of the ylang ylang plantations
Lokobe reserve is famous for the makako lemur, birds and "do" (snakes,.... brrrr je déteste les erpents).....

This is a very interesting style of music. I like it! The style is called salegy (the dance and the music)?

We never made it to Nosy Be. I heard its very touristy. Is that true? Dan wants to go to see the Lokobe Reserve.
